Head of Finance & Controlling, BestDrive Norway (m/f/d) - Executive (based in Oslo - Norway)
Your tasks
We are looking for a Head of Finance \& Controlling to lead and further develop finance, accounting, controlling and risk management for a nationwide retail organization with strong growth ambitions.
In this role, you are a trusted financial advisor to senior management and the Board, and a key contributor to strategic and operational decision\-making as part og the management team.
Key responsibilities:
As Head of Finance \& Controlling, you will:
- Take overall responsibility for finance, accounting, controlling, cash and risk management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and high\-quality monthly reporting
- Drive profit\-oriented business steering through strong analysis, KPIs and insights
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and group requirements
- Lead and develop a finance organization with direct leadership responsibility
- Support strategic initiatives such as integration, M\&A activities and network development
- Act as a key sparring partner to the Managing Director and part of management team
Your profile
- University degree in business management (or a Masters in Economics) or equivalent qualification.
- 6\+ years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling function, preferably in a retail organization or similar
- Strong business understanding
- Proven leadership experience with a good knowhow to build an effective team, build accountability and drive performance.
- Experience with budgeting, reporting, cash management and internal controls.
- Experience in leading strategic projects (M\&A or Integration) and working in multinational environment is considered as an advantage
- Fluent English in an international matrix environment; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a strong advantage.
