Location: Inkthreadable, Blackburn, Lancashire (on\-site/hybrid)
Type: Full\-time
Help our customers get started, stay informed and grow
At Inkthreadable, we help online brands turn their ideas into products, taking care of printing and fulfilment so they can focus on growing their business.
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our day\-to\-day digital content and marketing, making sure customers can find the information they need, discover our products and feel confident using our service.
You’ll look after our website content, help guides, product listings and email campaigns, working closely with our SEO agency, customer support team and developers.
It’s a varied, hands\-on role. One day you might be putting together a product launch email or improving a help guide. The next, you could be publishing a new range.
Across all of it, your job is to make things clearer, easier to use and up to date.
What you’ll be doing \- Creating content that helps
- Writing and maintaining help guides, blog posts and website content in our clear, friendly tone of voice.
- Keeping information accurate as our products, processes and integrations change.
- Working with customer support to spot recurring questions and turn them into useful guides or clearer website information.
- Explaining technical steps in everyday language, so customers can follow along without needing to be experts.
- Planning, building and sending email campaigns through Klaviyo.
- Helping customers discover new products, understand our service and make the most of their Inkthreadable account.
- Checking copy, links and product details before campaigns go out.
- Reviewing campaign results and using what you learn to improve future emails.
- Creating and publishing new product listings, with accurate descriptions, images and the details customers need to choose confidently.
- Keeping existing listings up to date, including product options and artwork requirements.
- Working with our external SEO agency to review and approve content and build landing pages.
- Regularly reviewing website content and product pages for clarity, accuracy and performance.
A clear, friendly way with words. You can write a helpful guide, an engaging email or a product description that answers the questions customers are likely to have.
An eye for detail. You notice an outdated instruction, a broken link or a product detail that doesn’t quite add up, and take the time to put it right.
Confidence working on websites. You’re comfortable using a CMS or website backend and working with basic HTML.
Technical curiosity. You don’t need a coding background, but you should enjoy investigating problems and explaining what you’ve found clearly enough for a developer to act on it.
An understanding of e\-commerce. Experience with store integrations would be helpful, along with a willingness to learn how our platforms connect and how orders move between them.
Email marketing experience. You’re familiar with building and sending campaigns. We use Klaviyo, so experience with it would be useful.
Some knowledge of SEO. You understand the basics, or you’re ready to learn while working closely with our agency.
Good organisation and follow\-through. You can balance planned content and campaigns with product updates and unexpected support escalations, keeping track of priorities and seeing work through.
Helpful extras
Basic social media skills would be welcome, particularly creating and scheduling regular posts for Instagram and Facebook.
Experience with print\-on\-demand, product launches or writing help content would also give you a useful starting point.
If you enjoy writing, figuring things out and making the details work together, we’d love to hear from you.
