An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to lead a growing Commercial Property team within a well-established and forward-thinking firm.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee the department’s performance, manage and develop the team, and deliver high-quality commercial property advice to a broad client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Commercial Property team


• Oversee workload allocation, supervision, and quality control


• Handle a broad caseload of commercial property matters including development, landlord & tenant, and acquisitions/disposals


• Drive business development and marketing initiatives


• Support the firm’s strategic growth plans


• Achieve fee earning and departmental targets


• Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships


• Manage departmental credit control and compliance standards


• Mentor and support junior team members

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer


• Minimum 8 years’ PQE within Commercial Property


• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness


• Experience managing or supervising a team


• Proven business development and client relationship skills


• Experience with AML and onboarding compliance requirements


• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
