<p data-start="294" data-end="630">We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Head of Accounting (m/f/d) to join one of the companies in the A11 ecosystem and take ownership of all accounting and financial operations—ranging from managing a growing finance team to delivering accurate reporting and driving financial decision-making in a fast-paced international environment.</p>
<p data-start="294" data-end="630">As a Team Lead Accounting, you’ll play a key role in keeping the financial engine running smoothly, from preparing financial statements to managing accounts receivable and supporting internal stakeholders on finance topics.</p>

<h2>In this role, you’ll:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage the core accounting team of 2 professionals</li>
<li>Manage day-to-day (preparatory) bookkeeping</li>
<li>Support in the preparation of monthly-, quarterly- and annual financial statements as well as internal reporting according to HGB and IFRS</li>
<li>Prepare and analyze monthly expenses related to material and logistic costs, identifying variances and ensuring accuracy in reporting</li>
<li>Collaborate with and support other internal departments and the board of management on tax and financial accounting issues and projects</li>
<li>Lead accounts receivable processes, including responding to external inquiries and managing the dunning process to ensure timely collections</li>
<li>Liaise with our external accountancy firm</li>
<li>Support on finance initiatives to support and the management in an international environment</li>
</ul>
<h2>Your Profile: </h2>
<ul>
<li>Relevant experience in an audit firm (Big Four or mid-tier a plus) and / or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance or similar field </li>
<li>A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on finance/accounting or comparable qualification</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of IFRS as well as HGB</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills</li>
<li>You have strong communication skills and are fluent in German and English</li>
<li>You have strong organizational skills and keep a cool head even in stressful situations</li>
<li>You have familiarity and comfort with financial, accounting and business systems software, especially, DATEV, DUO (DATEV Unternehmen Online); experience with Expense management solutions as well as Salesforce is a plus</li>
</ul>
