Head Dental Nurse

Duties
- Lead and supervise the dental nursing team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high standards of patient care and clinical excellence
- Coordinate daily schedules to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to protocols
- Oversee patient care from reception through post\-treatment, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication at every stage
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, including treatment notes, appointment logs, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control standards, and legal requirements in all clinical activities
- Foster effective communication among team members and with patients to promote a welcoming environment
- Support administrative tasks such as stock control, ordering supplies, and managing clinic documentation
- Proven experience as a dental nurse with a strong background in patient care and clinical support
- Leadership or supervisory experience within a dental practice is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management and record keeping
- Knowledge of nursing principles applied within a dental setting
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail at all times
Pay: From £13\.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30\.0 per week
