As Head Concierge, you will lead the Concierge, Porters and Door team in delivering a seamless, highly personalised five\-star guest experience. You will oversee the day\-to\-day operation of the department, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and memorable Fitzwilliam stay.

Acting as a key ambassador for the hotel, you will use your leadership, attention to detail and local expertise to elevate the guest journey, support VIP experiences and drive a culture of excellence across the team.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver a warm, engaging and anticipatory guest experience

  • Oversee VIP arrivals, groups and guest requests, ensuring exceptional attention to detail

  • Manage the daily operation of the Concierge desk, including transport, luggage handling and guest services

  • Maintain strong communication with the wider hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest journey

  • Coach and develop the team, setting high standards of service, presentation and professionalism

  • Ensure the lobby and entrance are maintained to impeccable five\-star standards

  • Drive guest satisfaction through proactive service, feedback management and continuous improvement

  • Support hotel operations through Duty Manager shifts

  • Ensure the safety and security of the lobby, entrance and guest luggage

  • Coordinate fire walks, drills and bell tests, ensuring team readiness and compliance at all times. Will maintain and update emergency procedures, including fire and evacuation processes
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience as Head Concierge or Assistant Head Concierge in a luxury hotel

  • A natural leader with a passion for five\-star service

  • Strong knowledge of Dublin and Ireland

  • Excellent communication and problem\-solving skills

  • Experience in a Duty Manager capacity

  • Full clean driving licence

  • Flexible, professional and highly guest\-focused
