Houston & Hawkes are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to take ownership of an established, high-profile site, delivering an ambitious food offering spanning retail, hospitality and refined dining. This is a role for a chef who combines creativity with commercial awareness, leadership with attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences every day.

From shaping menus and developing your team to driving standards and innovation, you will have the opportunity to influence every aspect of the food operation. THE ROLE

• Leading all kitchen operations across retail dining, hospitality and fine dining


• Designing innovative seasonal menus that showcase quality, creativity and sustainability


• Recruiting, developing and inspiring a high-performing kitchen team


• Driving food quality, consistency and presentation across every service


• Managing food costs, GP, stock control and kitchen budgets


• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders


• Ensuring exemplary food safety, allergen management and compliance standards


• Continuously evolving the food offer and creating memorable dining experiences

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or accomplished Senior Sous Chef


• Strong background across hospitality, retail dining and fine dining environments


• A natural leader who develops people and builds high-performing teams


• Passionate about food, innovation and exceptional guest experiences


• Commercially aware with strong financial and operational management skills


• Organised, detail-oriented and confident working within premium environments
