Bakery Lead – Selma’s Nordic Bakery

Selma’s Nordic Bakery is looking for a Bakery Lead for our new bakery at Jan van Galenstraat 106 in Amsterdam.

We are an artisan bakery with a focus on Nordic\-style bread and pastries, though not exclusively. We work with high\-quality, seasonal ingredients and make everything with care, creativity and attention to detail.

We are looking for someone with a strong baking background who can take the lead in the bakery and become my main point of contact for production. You should have a good track record of working efficiently and creatively, and be confident in organising production, maintaining quality, and supporting the team.

The role includes:

• Leading daily bakery production


• Supporting and guiding the bakery team


• Keeping quality and consistency high


• Planning and organising efficient workflows


• Making sure hygiene, health and safety standards are followed


• Being the main point of contact for the bakery team

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid professional bakery experience


• Can work independently and take responsibility


• Is organised, efficient and calm under pressure


• Preferably has experience leading or guiding a team


• Understands food safety and hygiene standards


• Has an interest in high\-quality artisan baking


• Ideally has an affinity with, or interest in, Nordic/Scandinavian baking traditions

Hours: Full\-time preferred, open to discussion

Salaris: €3\.000,00 \- €4\.000,00 per maand
