HCM PROJECT MANAGER (ITRENT IMPLEMENTATION)
Shepherd's Bush, West London (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week)
£60,000 - £65,000 + 11% Employer Pension
10-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering
HR and Payroll system implementations?
We're seeking an HCM Project Manager to lead a major transformation programme
involving the implementation of Midland HR's iTrent platform and the migration
to a new payroll provider. This is a high-profile project that will play a key
role in modernising critical HR, payroll, and people systems.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex HCM and Payroll
transformation programme, working closely with HR, IT, senior stakeholders,
external suppliers, and project teams to ensure successful implementation and
adoption.
The programme includes:
- Implementation of Midland HR's iTrent HCM platform
- Integration with business-critical systems including Microsoft Entra and
- Migration to a new payroll provider
- Management of multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
- Lead the day-to-day management of the project
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance
- Manage stakeholder engagement across HR, IT, Operations, and external
- Facilitate workshops, project boards, steering committees, and working groups
- Track project finances and manage change requests
- Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed, and escalated appropriately
- Drive successful delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience delivering HRIS, HCM, Payroll, or HR transformation projects
- Experience managing complex system implementations, migrations, and
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with third-party vendors and suppliers
- Excellent project governance and reporting experience
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Proven experience leading successful iTrent implementation and/or migration
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll systems and associated business
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
- Ability to commute to Shepherd's Bush, West London, and attend the office 2-3
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Public sector industry experience
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
- Programme Management qualifications
- Knowledge of data protection and compliance best practices
- Salary of £60,000 - £65,000
