Job Title Health Care Assistant
Job Summary
We require a HCA to assist with our busy GP\+ service, based in Swinton and Walkden \& Little Hulton.
Principle Duties
Assisting the patient and doctor during the entire journey of the consultation:
- Bringing the patient from waiting area to clinical room
- Preparing the couch for physical examination
- Assisting patient to undress and dress if required by patient
- Handing instruments/equipment to doctor
- Ensuring stock level is adequate for the clinic
- Bloods
- Bloods \& BP
- NHS Health Checks
- Hypertension Reviews
- Weekday evenings
- Saturdays
The healthcare assistant must be able to communicate well with colleagues and patients. The role often requires the healthcare assistant to put patients and their loved ones at ease. This requires clear and simple communication with a friendly, approachable manner.
The healthcare assistant must have clear and accurate written communication, to ensure that patient notes and messages are readily understood.
Pay: £18\.25 per hour
