Hardware Development Engineer

In your role, you will develop electronic circuits and PCB layouts for advanced interconnect solutions, including embedded component technologies. You will support customer projects from design to production readiness and contribute your expertise to innovative electronic products.
Your Responsibilities

- Design and develop electronic circuits based on customer requirements, including simulations where required.
- Create PCB layouts and schematics with a focus on AT\&S\-specific technologies, such as embedded components.
- Generate and maintain all required production documentation, manufacturing data, and technical drawings.
- Perform electronic design activities, including development, layout, verification, and simulation.
- Maintain and optimize EDA libraries, component databases, and design rules.
- Provide technical support and expertise to internal departments and project teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, workflows, and engineering toolsets.
- Collaborate with cross\-functional and international teams to deliver high\-quality customer solutions.

- Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (HTL, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
- Proven experience in electronics development, including schematic design, PCB layout, and technical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design and PCB development.
- Hands\-on experience with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition, or Cadence Allegro.
- Good understanding of PCB manufacturing and electronic assembly processes.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Team\-oriented and customer\-focused personality with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution\-driven mindset.
