Learning \& Certification

Before the hackathon, participants will gain exclusive access to the Siemens Industrial Fundamentals Learning Path, a self\-paced training programme designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to modern industrial systems.

Through interactive learning modules, participants will explore key Industry 4\.0 topics including:

Internship Opportunity

This hackathon is designed to help you develop your skills in industrial innovation while identifying talented students with strong potential. Top\-performing participants will be considered for internship positions at Siemens starting in October/November 2026\.

Awards \& Recognition

Top\-performing participants will be invited to a final assessment process for internship opportunities at Siemens.

Additional prizes include:

Hackathon Format

Students will participate in a full\-day hackathon combining individual and team\-based challenges.

Working in teams of three and supported by Siemens mentors, participants will develop innovative solutions to real industrial challenges and present their proposals during a final pitch before a panel of Siemens experts.

‍ Who can apply?

Master’s students enrolled in the 2026–2027 academic year, with backgrounds in:

• Industrial Engineering


• Telecommunications Engineering


• Computer Science \& AI

Applicants must be admitted, pre\-enrolled or enrolled in a Master's programme for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Timeline

• June 2026 – Challenge launch


• Summer 2026 – Learning and preparation phase


• September 2026 – Hackathon Day (Tres Cantos)
