The Role

As Gym Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the day\-to\-day performance of the club.

You will:

• Lead, coach, and inspire your team


• Deliver Personal Training sessions and fitness classes


• Drive membership growth and retention


• Maintain exceptional standards across the facility


• Own the atmosphere, energy, and results of the gym

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and fellow Gym Managers across our 9\-site network to continually raise standards and performance across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Club Operations \& Standards

• Own the daily running of the gym including cleanliness, safety, equipment, and member experience


• Ensure all Health \& Safety standards are met and maintained


• Manage rotas, inspections, repairs, suppliers, and stock


• Handle member enquiries, sign\-ups, feedback, and complaints professionally

Team Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, and develop Personal Trainers and front\-of\-house staff


• Build a motivated, high\-performing team culture


• Run regular team meetings and one\-to\-one sessions


• Coach individuals to improve performance and support career progression

Coaching, PT \& Classes

• Deliver Personal Training sessions and group fitness classes


• Lead by example on the gym floor


• Support members in achieving real, measurable results

Sales, Growth \& Retention

• Drive new memberships and retain existing members


• Promote classes, events, and Personal Training services


• Take ownership of club revenue and overall performance

Budgets \& Business Performance

• Manage costs, control spend, and maximise profitability


• Forecast income and identify opportunities for growth

What We’re Looking For

This role is not suitable for someone who wants to stay in the office.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)


• Has experience leading a team in a gym or fitness environment


• Is confident, approachable, and people\-focused


• Thrives in a fast\-paced, hands\-on role


• Takes pride in high standards, energy, and results

What You’ll Get

• £26,000 basic salary


• OTE of £32,000–£40,000 (bonus and commission)
