Are you a dynamic and experienced retail professional with a passion for leading teams and driving business success? For our GUESS store in Amstelveen, we are looking for a highly motivated and results oriented individual to join our team as a Store Manager.
Requirements for the role:
- Speaks dutch and has good knowledge of English.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably as a Store Manager
- Strong leadership skills and a positive mindset with the ability to motivate and develop a high\-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and sales techniques.
- Results\-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated retail professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the team meets and exceeds performance targets.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, product knowledge. Develop strategies to maximize revenue and meet sales targets, while ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers through the ‘*GUESS Experience’*.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels, minimize loss, and ensure accurate product availability. Implement efficient restocking procedures to meet customer demand and enhance overall store performance.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the store's operational efficiency by managing daily activities, such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with company policies. Implement best practices to enhance overall store operations.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and organized store layout through effective visual merchandising. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional displays and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the store's performance. Develop action plans to address areas for improvement and capitalize on opportunities.
- Salary according to the collective labor agreement (CLA)
