We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivated Group Leader Mechanical Engineering (f/m/d) at our Bad Homburg site. You will join our Engineering \& Design department focusing on Plant Utility \& HVAC systems for Data Centers.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
-------------------------------------------

• Lead and develop a team of engineers within the Engineering \& Design department


• Plan, design, and implement building services systems (heating, ventilation/air conditioning, plumbing, sprinkler) for new construction and renovation projects


• Ensure compliance with applicable German standards and regulations in building services engineering (e.g., DIN, VDI, VDE)


• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments, clients, and external partners, planners, and service providers


• Prepare and review technical specifications, bills of quantities, and design plans


• Support tender processes, proposal evaluations, and supplier selection


• Ensure quality throughout project execution up to commissioning


• Assist in budget and resource planning as well as in schedule tracking


• Participate in site visits, planning meetings, and coordination discussions

• Degree in building services engineering, HVAC engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field


• Solid experience in planning and executing building services systems in a industry project environment


• Strong knowledge of relevant German standards, guidelines, and legal requirements for building services in industrial projects


• Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written – essential


• Willingness to travel


• Leadership experience is a plus, but not mandatory – initiative and team spirit are key


• Structured, solution\-oriented approach and a high sense of responsibility


• Proficiency in CAD systems, planning tools, and MS Office
