Job Description
We are seeking a Group Reporting Manager with a profound builder and transformer mindset. This is a high\-impact, hands\-on role designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of core technical accounting and progressive financial technology.
While maintaining the absolute integrity of our international financial data, you will be a primary driver of our financial architecture evolution. You will lead change management initiatives, orchestrate the implementation of new systems, and steer our reporting out of manual workflows into automated, tech\-driven excellence. You will own our SAP S/4HANA reporting environment, bridging the gap between rigorous technical accounting, automated data flows, and strategic process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Process Automation \& SAP S/4HANA Ownership: Formulate and execute a roadmap to modernize group reporting workflows. Drive automation projects (system integrations, RPA) and lead the functional optimization of SAP S/4HANA to eliminate manual bottlenecks and establish a scalable "single source of truth."
- Change Management \& Team Leadership: Act as the primary change agent for system upgrades and tool adoption. Manage, mentor, and upskill a distributed team of 8\+ professionals, designing the future\-state organizational structure of the group reporting function.
- Hands\-on Financial Production \& Close Optimization: Maintain operational discipline over the end\-to\-end accounting cycle (GL health, complex journal entries, reconciliations). Continually re\-engineer and accelerate the
- End\-to\-End Group Consolidation: Internalize, own, and optimize the group financial consolidation process across all entities, with a strict mandate to accelerate reporting timelines and eliminate manual reporting debt.
- Payment Flow Technical Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of payment industry mechanics (settlement cycles, scheme fees, wallet\-based fund flows) to ensure core accounting logic perfectly mirrors operational realities.
- Regulatory \& Statutory Compliance: Oversee the accurate production of financial statements and regulatory reporting across 6 EU jurisdictions, ensuring continuous compliance with safeguarding, capital adequacy, and
- Management Reporting \& Executive Insights: Deliver high\-quality, tech\-enabled management reporting suites (P\&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and KPIs), providing clear variance analysis and data\-driven insights to leadership.
- Audit, Control \& SOP Architecture: Architect and document internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Act as the primary lead for external auditors and advisors to ensure a seamless, efficient audit completion.
- 10\+ years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or analytical financial roles within a fast\-paced environment (Public Accounting/Big 4 combined with regulated industry experience is highly preferred).
- Proven Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated experience leading financial system implementations, process automation initiatives, and successfully managing team transitions through organizational change.
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Hands\-on experience managing, implementing, or functionally optimizing reporting and consolidation modules within an S/4HANA environment.
- Fintech \& Payment Industry DNA: Direct experience in Fintech, high\-growth technology, or fast\-evolving regulated industries. Comfortable with the speed, ambiguity, and adaptability required in a scaling business.
- Core Accounting Mastery: Active professional accounting credentials (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with deep technical knowledge of local GAAPs and IFRS.
- Analytical \& Tech\-First Mindset: Strong affinity for data analytics, data flows, and modern finance technology stacks.
- International Profile: Fluent in English (French or other European languages are a plus); comfortable navigating cross\-border regulations, cultural nuances, and multiple accounting standards.
