As our new Group Procurement Director, you will define and drive DeepOcean's global procurement agenda. Combining strategic leadership, commercial excellence and digital transformation, you will create lasting value across regions while biolding a future-fit procurement function that supports our growth ambitions. 



You will be part of DeepOcean's corporate leadership environment, reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with regional procurement leaders, finance, operations and executive stakeholders worldwide. Together, you will establish common ways of working, unlock synergies across regions and strengthen DeepOcean's position as a leading ocean services provider.



 



What should you do?



Develop and implement DeepOcean's global procurement strategy, governance framework and operating modelDrive cost savings and Total Cost of Ownership improvements while ensuring sustainable value creationLead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives across the organizationNegotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements and strengthen supplier performanceDrive procurement digitalisation, spend transparency and AI-enabled improvementsEnsure procurement compliance, risk management and sustainable sourcing practicesPartner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and regional business units to deliver strategic priorities

 



What background and expertise do you bring with you?



To be successful in this role, we believe you have:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of Senior Management/Executive director-level role. Global experience in Supply Chain Management. Proven experience developing and implementing procurement strategies in complex international organizationsStrong commercial, financial and contractual understandingExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

It would be considered an advantage if you also have:



Experience from offshore, subsea, oil & gas or renewable energy industriesExperience leading procurement transformation and digitalisation initiatives
