The Bayswood Care Group are looking to recruit a full time Group HR Manager to be based in our Poulton home, however some travel is required throughout the Fylde coast, along with our home based in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 40 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.

The key responsibilities include the following:

  • Support the ongoing strategic aims of the homes, working closely with the Directors and Senior Management Team.

  • Maintain an efficient running of the HR office, ensuring an effective and supportive day to day HR service is delivered to cover the needs of the homes.

  • Implement and oversee the employee lifecycle for, all employee's, throughout all four care homes.

  • Recruitment and onboarding \- Oversee and lead end to end recruitment, ensuring backgrounds and safety checks are executed, delivering a robust care sector induction, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

  • Compliance and Regulation \- Ensure all staff adhere to Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and health and social care regulations and the appropriate policies and procedures are implemented where needed.

  • Employee relations \- Advise all members of senior management / management on performance, sickness absence management, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Retention and Wellbeing \- Review and Implement employee recognition, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement programs to reduce turnover.

  • Implement and ensure compliance in every aspect of overseas sponsorships recruitment processes.

Requirements for the role


  • Previous experience working within a similar role at a level of HR Manager, HR Business Partner would be advantageous

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and healthcare regulations

  • Proficient in office 365 and teams

  • CIPD level 5 or working towards as a minimum
