Group Head Chef.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed kitchen professional to join our team as operational Group Head Chef.
In this role, you’ll motivate, teach, mentor and lead the kitchen teams, shoulder to shoulder, across our 10 Scottish venues, ensuring that we create outstanding experiences and reach our targets.
The role requires a seasoned pro who is also caring, committed and loves to create the best possible food experience for every single prospective guest.
We own and operate 10 hospitality venues across west central Scotland.
Boutique and unique, each offer a different experience; from banqueting for up to 200 guests to intimate restaurant dining experiences.
For clarity this is a hands\-on role working every day with our Head Chefs and their brigades.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and continuously improve kitchen operations food service, ensuring prompt response to challenges or issues
- Support our Head of Food on the following;
+ Implementation of food / kitchen plans, strategies policies
+ Recipe / dish / spec / menu development
+ Kitchen rota frameworks and labour controls
+ GP management
- Lead conversations with Head Chefs, General Managers, venue management and support teams, to identify focus areas
- Support the implementation delivery of all kitchen standards processes; creating a safe environment for learning, development and delivery
- Working with the LD Manager, oversee the training learning regime for all kitchen\-based employees
- Identify and address any issues within the kitchens, collaborating with our Head Chefs General Managers
- Be commercially aware of trends and changes in the hospitality industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Head Chef roles with experience in banqueting restaurants
- Food Safety Level 3 qualified
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A drive for process, routine great habits
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
- Experience with hospitality software tools eg Procure Wizard, Res Diary, PM is also desired.
