The Role

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and commercially astute Group General Manager to oversee operations across three key properties:

• Velvet Hotel Manchester


• Forty Seven Hotel Manchester


• Garner by IHG Preston, Samlesbury

This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands\-on operator who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and is passionate about driving performance, improving standards, and leading high\-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all three hotels


• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost control in line with company targets


• Lead, develop, and inspire Hotel Managers and departmental teams


• Improve operational standards, guest satisfaction, and online reputation


• Ensure full compliance with health \& safety, HR, and brand standards (where applicable)


• Identify opportunities for growth, efficiencies, and business improvement


• Work closely with ownership on business planning, reporting, and performance reviews


• Implement strong leadership culture and accountability across all sites

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Regional Manager within hospitality


• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving financial performance


• Hands\-on leadership style with the ability to drive change and accountability


• Experience managing multiple sites or complex operations


• Passion for guest experience, quality, and team development


• Strong understanding of hotel operations including rooms, F\&B, and compliance


• Resilient, driven, and comfortable operating in a turnaround or growth environment

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
