Join Mittanbud as Group Financial Controller
Mittanbud Marketplaces is looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller in a newly established role to take ownership of financial control, internal controls, group consolidation, and treasury processes across the newly formed group entity that owns our portfolio of leading home\-services and marketplace brands, with Verdane as the majority owner.
The role reports to Group CFO.
You will be a central figure in building the financial backbone of a newly established group, working closely with the Group CFO to establish robust routines, accurate consolidated reporting, and sound treasury practices across all group companies.
This is an opportunity to shape financial processes from the ground up while operating in an international, multi\-brand environment.
You will work across strong brands \- Mittanbud, Servicefinder, 3byggetilbud, Remppatori, Offerta and IPIS \- contributing to a shared financial platform that supports operations across the Nordics.
About the position

This is an on\-site position based in our Oslo office.
As Group Financial Controller, you will own the financial controlling and consolidation processes for the entire group, ensuring the integrity of the consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
You will also take responsibility for group treasury processes, working in close partnership with the Group CFO on cash management, liquidity, and banking relationships.
You will be the link between the group function and the finance teams in each operating company.
What you’ll work on
Own and run the group consolidation process across all group companies, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated reporting under IFRS
Establish, document, and continuously improve financial controlling routines and internal controls across the group
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting processes at group level together with external accounting provider (Amesto)
Take responsibility for group treasury processes, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, intercompany funding
Act as the main point of contact for financial controlling matters across the operating companies (Mittanbud, Offerta, Servicefinder, 3byggetilbud, Remppatori and IPIS)
Ensure compliance with IFRS and support the technical accounting assessments arising in a multi\-entity group
Prepare and present financial analysis, consolidated results to the Group CFO and leadership
Coordinate and support the external audit process at group level
Strengthen the financial control environment as the group scales and integrates new entities
Drive standardization and improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting across the group
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience
IFRS experience is a requirement \- solid, hands\-on experience applying IFRS in a group reporting context
A relevant degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (e.g. MSc in Accounting \& Auditing, or state\-authorized accountant/auditor qualification)
Proven experience with group consolidation and consolidated financial reporting
Strong understanding of financial controlling routines, internal controls, and closing processes
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish) is also required
Structured, detail\-oriented, and comfortable owning complex processes end to end
Ideal candidate profile
Approximately 4 years of audit experience from a Big Four firm or similar
Followed by approximately 2 years as a group financial controller in a mid\- to large\-cap publicly listed company
Experience operating in a multi\-entity, international group environment
Nice to have
Experience with group treasury, cash management, or liquidity planning
Experience setting up or improving financial processes in a newly formed or rapidly scaling group
Familiarity with modern consolidation and Xledger
Familiarity with Claude and other AI tools or curiosity / ability to learn.
