LBK Solutions is a growing electrical and civils contractor specialising in public lighting, EV charging infrastructure and utility civils works. We work for main contractors, local authorities and private developers across Munster, and we're building a team of people who take pride in doing the job right.
The role
We're looking for an experienced all\-round groundworker to join our civils crew. You'll be working on utility and public lighting projects – ducting, chambers, column bases, kerbing, concreting, shuttering and reinstatement – as part of a small, tight\-knit team.
What you'll be doing
- Reading and working from construction drawings and setting\-out information
- Concreting, shuttering and formwork
- Laying tar, kerbs and reinstating surfaces
- Excavation, ducting and chamber installation for utility and lighting works
- Communicating clearly with the site team, engineers and suppliers – arranging deliveries, confirming materials, flagging issues early
- Keeping the site safe, tidy and to spec
- Solid all\-round civils / utilities experience
- Able to read drawings and work off them without hand\-holding
- Competent in concrete, shuttering and tar
- A good communicator who can deal with the team and with suppliers
- Full clean B licence essential; C licence (rigid truck) a strong advantage
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling
- Reliable, hardworking and happy to travel to sites across Munster
- Ducting / cable\-laying or public lighting experience
- CSCS cards (e.g. 360 excavator, dumper, abrasive wheels)
- Signing, Lighting \& Guarding / Location of Underground Services
- Competitive rate depending on experience
- Full training and upskilling for the right candidate – including support towards your C licence and CSCS tickets
