Ground Maintenance Operative

We’re looking to expand our team in Boston and are looking for Two Ground Maintenance Operatives,
In this role you will play a key part in delivering our vison of Places to be proud of.
You’ll make sure our neighbourhood and communities are clean and tidy so that our customers can feel safe where they live.
You will work alongside other LHP repairs colleagues to make sure our estates are clean, free of fly-tipping and that our houses and gardens are cleared ready for renovations to take place.
In this role, you'll work alongside another Grounds Maintenance Operative and be provided with an LHP caged vehicle. The vehicle will be based at one of our compounds, so you'll need to be able to travel to the compound each day to start and finish your shift.

Where I’d work:
This role will be based in our Boston communities; on occasions you may be expected to travel around our Lincolnshire communities including our properties in Grimsby.
What I’d need as a Ground maintenance operative:
The most important thing we look for is your attitude and values. It would be great if you also bring:
- A valid, clean UK driving license and access to you own vehicle
- Experience of completing environmental clearances or house clearances
- Experience of using small power tools and other hand tools.
- Knowledge of operating small plant tools (e.g generators, pressure cleaning equipment)
- Experience of using small gardening equipment (e.g. grass strimmer’s)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety process
- A learning mindset with the desire to progress into more skilled roles at LHP
- A strong team player
