Graphic Designer & Social Media Executive

About us

We’re CHEAT DAZE, a growing dessert brand with big ambitions and new stores opening across the UK. We’re looking for a creative, organised person to make our brand look consistent, keep our social channels active and turn new products and store launches into engaging campaigns.

You’ll be part of a two\-person creative team, working alongside our Content Creator, who will lead videography and photography. Your focus will be graphic design, social media management and supporting our digital marketing activity.

What you’ll be doing

• Design branded assets including menus, leaflets, posters, digital screens, social graphics and promotional materials.


• Create and maintain reusable templates so branch marketing stays consistent.


• Own the content calendar, coordinating product launches, store openings, seasonal campaigns and everyday posts.


• Write captions and schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.


• Work with our Content Creator to brief shoots and turn photography and video into complete campaigns.


• Create quick, informal phone\-shot content and Stories when needed, including behind\-the\-scenes and UGC\-style posts.


• Monitor comments, messages and mentions, respond to routine enquiries and pass customer issues to the appropriate team.


• Source and repost customer content with permission.


• Coordinate collaborations with influencers and local food creators, including outreach, briefs and follow\-up.


• Adapt campaigns for individual branches and local audiences.


• Keep website content up to date with store information, products and menu changes.


• Create and schedule email newsletters for launches, promotions and brand updates.


• Set up, monitor and improve agreed Instagram and Facebook advertising campaigns within approved budgets.


• Track social, email and campaign performance, sharing clear findings and practical improvements.

What we’re looking for

• A strong graphic design portfolio, with examples of social content and promotional materials.


• Confidence using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Canva, with the ability to prepare both digital and print\-ready artwork.


• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.


• Strong written communication skills and an eye for spelling, layout and consistency.


• An understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook content formats and audience behaviour.


• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, including basic campaign setup and reporting.


• Confidence making straightforward website updates and using email marketing platforms, or the ability to learn quickly.


• Strong organisation and the ability to manage requests from multiple branches while keeping priorities clear.


• A proactive approach: someone who brings ideas, follows through and keeps work moving.

Experience with food, hospitality, retail, store launches or influencer campaigns would be an advantage.
