Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and marketing strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including branding and multimedia content, contributing to the overall visual communication of our organisation. The successful applicant will utilise a broad range of design tools and software to produce innovative digital and print materials, ensuring high\-quality output across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design concepts of brochures, flyers, banners, technical documents, infographics, etc.
- Organising templates and master documents whilst displaying creativity
- Ensure consistency across all platforms
- Assist Lead Designer with visual identity development
- Troubleshooting design issues and finding creative solutions.
- Ensure that written content aligns with the company's brand personality
- Interpreting and implementing brand guidelines
- Oversee the production of marketing collateral, packaging, digital assets, and environmental graphics
- With guidance from the Lead Designer, you’ll receive feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to designs, ensuring a high level of quality and client satisfaction
- Stay ahead of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to push creative boundaries.
- Additionally, you’ll be responsible for organising and maintaining digital assets, including images, fonts, and design files, making sure they are easily accessible and appropriately archived
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, adhering to time lines, milestones, and priorities to meet project deadlines effectively
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, web design, and digital media work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and video editing tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems like WordPress.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience designing user interfaces for websites or applications.
- Strong photography skills to support visual storytelling efforts.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively to clients or team members.
- Experience with marketing campaigns and content creation across various digital platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers an engaging environment for creative professionals eager to make a significant impact through innovative visual communication solutions.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a creative role
