Graduate Trainee Accountant
We are an expanding, multi\-disciplinary, multi\-office, progressive firm offering a full range of outsourced accountancy services, advisory services and statutory accounts compliance services.
We specialise in utilising existing technology to improve efficiencies across all aspects of accounts/audit preparation with the ultimate aim of providing clients with accurate, timely and key information needed.
We are an approved ACCA employer and offer a range of supports (study leave, exam supports etc) to employees to help them achieve their desired qualification. We have also partnered with an ACCA Platinum approved learning provider to ensure the best support for exam success.
Training throughout the 3\.5 year contract will be across a wide range of areas to include (but not limited to)
- Bank and Cash Reconciliations
- Invoice processing
- Monthly creditor reconciliations (Accounts Payable)
- Issuing supplier payments and processing of same
- Preparing and processing journals based on various templates and cloud based data feeds
- Debtors Reconciliations
- Weekly reporting to clients highlighting Key Performance Indicators
- Preparing cashflows and historical cash utilisation analysis
- Filing and calculation of periodic statutory returns with Irish Revenue Commissioners (VAT, RCT, PAYE, IT, CT, Stamp Duty, E\-Levy) and UK Revenue Commissioners
- Assisting account manager with preparation of quarterly management accounts including preparing accruals, prepayments and all aspects of balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of year end financial statements and relevant filings with CRO/Revenue Commissioners
- Preparation of year end audit and audit exempt files in line with existing accounting framework and International Auditing Standards.
- Trainees will gain a knowledge and understanding of various software, to include : Advanced Excel, MS Access, Data Management Software, Xero, Custom Made Integration Platforms etc
Pay: From €14\.15 per hour
