We are looking for a hands\-on Electronics / Hardware Engineer to design and develop microcontroller and application processor\-based embedded systems. This role sits at the hardware–software boundary, involving board\-level design, firmware development, and Linux bring\-up.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop analogue/digital circuits and PCB layouts
- Perform board bring\-up, debugging, and prototype validation
- Integrate hardware with firmware and embedded Linux systems
- Collaborate across teams throughout the full product lifecycle
- Support EMC compliance, testing, and production readiness
- 5\+ years electronics/hardware engineering experience. However, exceptional recent graduates with strong academic performance, internships, or project experience will also be considered.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex\-M, STM32, PIC) and application processors (ARM Cortex\-A or similar)
- Strong hardware debugging and lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyser, etc.)
- Knowledge of SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, and high\-speed interfaces
- Experience with embedded firmware and Linux bring\-up
- An engineer who focuses on outcomes and delivers at pace
- Strong judgement in balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
- Ability to prioritise high\-impact work and avoid low\-value tasks
- Practical, solution\-oriented mindset
- x86 systems (Intel/AMD) experience
- Mains voltage / SMPS design experience
- Wireless technologies (Wi\-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa)
- Manufacturing or production test experience
- Work on complex, cutting\-edge embedded systems
- Be involved in all stages from schematic to production
- Collaborate with a hands\-on, multidisciplinary team
