Graduate Engineering Geologist
The role will be both office based and site based. Site works will include site investigations, supervision of earthworks, landfill engineering construction quality assurance and monitoring and testing. Office works will include technical report and specification preparation, desk studies and data collation and review. You should be familiar with the use of MS Office Software. Training will be provided as necessary for the use of slope stability and geotechnical software and AutoCAD and LSS draughting packages.
Your skills and qualifications
To be considered for our graduate recruitment programme you need to have:
· BSc in Geology or Earth Sciences (which have a geotechnical element) or a BEng in Civil
Engineering. A Masters Degree in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering or
other related subject would be an advantage.
· A keen interest in developing a career in environmental consultancy
· Problem solving skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
· A full UK driving licence
No prior experience of working in a consultancy is necessary and training will be provided for office and site based works.
