Graduate Design Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Graduate Design Engineer to join a well\-established Aerospace manufacturing company based in Denton, Manchester.

*Education:*
· Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
*Desired Knowledge and Skills:*
- Demonstrable experience using 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a fast\-moving team with diverse skill\-sets.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Keen to learn and able adapt quickly to a wide variety of engineering challenges.
· Creating fully detailed tooling designs for the manufacture of a wide range of aircraft and automotive components and assemblies.
· Producing technical drawings to assist with manufacture of tooling.
· Modifying and interrogating existing tooling designs to provide design improvements or amendments.
· Liaising with the customer to discuss component manufacturing methods and to determine tooling design requirements.
· Reading and understanding technical component drawings to assist with both the tooling design and manufacturing processes.
· Working alongside engineers and toolmakers to ensure designs are manufactured to required standard.
· Providing technical support to the shop floor throughout the manufacturing process.
· Providing assistance in the preparation of tooling for CNC manufacture.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £26,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
