GP Receptionist
Location: Braehead Medical Practice
Position: Receptionist
Hours: 30 hours per week (rotational shifts)
Shifts: 8:00 am \- 2:00 pm, 10:00 am \- 4:00 pm, 12:00 pm \- 6:00 pm
Hourly Rate: Starting from £12\.77 per hour, based on experience
Are you an enthusiastic and reliable individual with a passion for helping others? Braehead Medical Practice is looking for a new Receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming team. As a receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing high\-quality, compassionate service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our practice.
About Us:
- We are an urban practice serving over 8,000 patients in the Renfrew community.
- Our team includes 5 GP partners, 2 salaried GP, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), and 1 Practice Nurse, supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
- We are an Vision and Docman practice, ensuring efficient electronic management of patient records.
- We are a training practice with a commitment to medical education, hosting trainees throughout the year.
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all patients, visitors, and callers.
- Efficiently manage appointment bookings, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks.
- Assist clinical staff in maintaining accurate and up\-to\-date patient records.
- Collaborate with the practice team to deliver a high standard of patient care.
- Prior experience in a medical or reception role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast\-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, with experience in Vision and Docman systems highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
