Job Summary
Clevedon Medical Centre is a friendly, sociable and high performing GP surgery with a great reputation for our work in Medical Student Teaching and Research. Clevedon is a small seaside town within an easy commute of Bristol and surrounding villages. The Practice is owned by 5 GP Partners and employs 10 Salaried GP's and a compliment of a range of clinical professionals such as ACP's, Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioners, Chronic disease nurses, a Treatment Room team and a Home Visiting Paramedic who conducts all of our home visits. Our clinical team are supported by fantastic Management and Admin staff.
We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to provide maternity cover within our healthcare team. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care for our local community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient consultations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care. This role is ideal for a compassionate healthcare professional committed to delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history\-taking and physical examinations
- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols
- Utilise medical imaging and other diagnostic tools to inform clinical decisions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in public health and medical advancements
- Medical degree recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Registration as a licensed GP with current practising certification
- Proven experience in patient care
- Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and clinical procedures relevant to general practice
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages and backgrounds
