We are looking for a Materials Management Goods\-in Co\-ordinator / Assistant to join our Procurement and Materials Management team. This is a vital role supporting clinical and non\-clinical departments across the hospital by ensuring medical supplies and essential stock are received, managed and delivered efficiently.

Working behind the scenes, you will play a key role in helping our clinical teams provide outstanding patient care by ensuring wards and departments have the supplies they need, when they need them.

Main duties, tasks \& skills required
-----------------------------------------

As a Materials Management Goods\-in Co\-ordinator / Assistant, you will:

• Receive and process deliveries, ensuring goods arrive undamaged and are accurately receipted.


• Use electronic procurement and stock management systems to process orders and deliveries.


• Deliver goods to wards and departments across the hospital.


• Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies using established materials management processes.


• Carry out regular stock reviews and maintain efficient stock rotation.


• Manage returns, delivery discrepancies and supplier queries.


• Support departments during urgent supply requirements and help resolve stock issues.


• Build strong relationships with clinical teams, suppliers and colleagues across the organisation.

Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C (or equivalent)

Experience

Awareness of working in a hospital environment
