Job Overview
To manage and control the golf club parts on the ERP system (JD Edwards). Coordinate product launches and ensure that standard \& custom clubs and fitting system parts can be built on schedule.
Duties
- ·Set up all new raw material item codes and purchase costs in JD Edwards (Shafts, Grips, Heads, etc).
- Set up new standard club item codes, bill of materials, apply routes and roll up costs in JDE.
- Manage purchase prices on JD Edwards – keeping them up to date with supplier’s information.
- Manage and prepare Sample Golf Club builds prior to purchase including PO Template.
- Manage and prepare Manual Head PO before product launches.
- Prepare monthly purchasing files and PO template for all raw materials for standard golf clubs, in line with suppliers’ lead times.
- Set up and coordinate components for Mizuno’s Performance Fitting System on JD Edwards.
- Manage forecasting files for purchasing Standard heads.
- Learn the Custom Club Configurator and provide support and cover for this.
- Adhere to company policy and procedures to main Health \& Safety.
- In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the jobholder may be required to carry out other tasked assigned by their supervisor.
- Experience using ERP software essential (JD Edwards preferred)
- Knowledge of golf (not essential)
- IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced Excel required)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good Communication skills
- Able to work independently
Monday – Friday working hours (39\.5 hours)
