In this role, you will work in our Trade Finance and Supply Chain Management (Working Capital) department. Here, you will deliver balanced risk mitigation and working capital solutions to facilitate your cross\-border business along the value chain. The position you’re applying for: Global Trade Solutions Senior Working Capital and Trade Finance Officer

In this position, you will run your own client portfolio of large corporates and strategic clients where you focus on origination of Trade Finance solutions especially aiming for Working Capital deals, both on Receivables, Payables and Inventory side. You will also be in the center of all Supply Chain Management related communication in the Netherlands and you will work closely with internal stakeholders such as our Relationship Managers.

Your responsibilities

• Originate and lead implementation of Trade and Working Capital deals for our clients and prospects at BNP Paribas Netherlands Branch.


• Monitor market and sector developments which can impact various trade finance products for existing and potential clients


• Develop Client Action Plans and client pitches in close collaboration with the relationship manager and other stakeholders for relevant clients

You have a Finance, Legal or Economics Masters degree and have 7 to 15 years of relevant work experience. You know the different clients we serve and can find your way around deal origination, P\&L and balance sheets. You have project management skills, are a strong communicator (English, Dutch as a plus), analytical and a great colleague to work with.
