Global Product Manager Implant Scanning
Within the Straumann Group, our Tech organization strives to empower dental professionals and partners to make patient care more accessible, predictable, and convenient. As Global Product Manager – Implant Scanning Innovations, you will be part of our highly motivated and dynamic team driving the next generation of digitally enabled implant workflows and treatment innovations.
In this exciting and versatile role, you will develop and lead the product strategy for scanner\-enabled implant workflow innovations, focusing on digital full arch solutions, implant scanning workflows, scan body innovations, and integrated treatment experiences powered by Straumann intraoral scanning solutions. You will play a key role in shaping new clinical workflows and digital treatment concepts around Straumann’s core implant business, ensuring seamless integration between scanning, implant systems, restorative workflows, digital services, and software platforms.
A key focus area of the role is the evolution and commercialization of DirectIP™ and future full arch workflow solutions, enabling clinicians to deliver more predictable, scalable, and efficient digital implant treatments. You will work closely with product management, development teams, implant business units, restorative and surgical teams, AI and digital platform teams, as well as external partners and key opinion leaders to bring differentiated workflow innovations to market. This highly cross\-functional and collaborative role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, customer centricity, and the ability to drive innovation and alignment across multiple functions, teams, and brands in a global and multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and vision for implant scanning innovations and digitally enabled implant workflows.
- Own the roadmap and lifecycle of digital implant workflow innovations, including DirectIP™, digital full arch workflows, and future implant scanning solutions.
- Identify customer pain points and market opportunities around implant workflows and translate them into differentiated digital solutions.
- Drive innovation around scanbody\-enabled workflows, implant scanning concepts, workflow automation, and AI\-supported treatment experiences.
- Collaborate closely with core IOS product management and development teams to enable clinically excellent and easy\-to\-adopt implant workflows on Straumann scanning platforms.
- Partner with implant business units, restorative and surgical teams to ensure successful integration into interdisciplinary treatment protocols and digital workflows.
- Work closely with AXS and digital platform teams to improve end\-to\-end workflow integration, case management, and connected digital experiences.
- Collaborate with product marketing teams on launch readiness, customer adoption, market introduction, and portfolio expansion strategies.
- Interact regularly with customers, clinicians, and countries to gain deep insight into workflow adoption, clinical requirements, and competitive solutions.
- Be the product expert and key contact person for implant scanning innovations and digital full arch workflow solutions.
- Lead cross\-functional product initiatives and drive alignment across multicultural teams, brands, and external partners while fostering a strong one\-team approach.
- Postgraduate degree in business, marketing, engineering, dentistry or a related field
- 7\+ years of professional experience in product management or related functions.
- Experience with medical devices required, experience in dental preferred.
- Experience with software development and agile framework required.
- Business fluent in English, other languages advantageous.
- Driven and proactive mindset, demonstrating high energy and a strong ability to take initiative to effectively drive projects forward.
- Capability to create effective working relationship with customers, partners and colleagues across departments and regions.
- Strong team player, comfortable in working in a fast\-paced dynamic environment.
