Global Payroll - Associate / Assistant Vice President

<p class="x_MsoNormal">iCapital is seeking a motivated Payroll professional to join the growing Corporate Finance team. This role will assist the Global Payroll Team in managing the company’s current in-house and outsourced payrolls, provide payroll insight and services to employees and partners, and help execute related processes and payroll data management. This individual will gain experience for a global payroll career that rewards versatility, and strong detail-orientation. This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate on important projects within Corporate Finance.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Assist with Global Payroll (US, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Portugal, Switzerland, and Japan).</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Reconcile all changes that affect pay which include salary adjustments, location changes, leaves, and returns, bonuses and commissions, deductions, and one-time payments such as referral awards, relocation stipends, and severance payments.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Review and finalize timesheets for a small population of US non-exempt employees.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Manage other pay inputs such as garnishments and deduction corrections as needed.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Manage the day-to-day relationship with payroll service partners, including correspondence, ad-hoc requests, escalation, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Assist the Global Payroll team with reconciling and approving payrolls timely and accurately, in partnership with Corporate Finance.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Manage ongoing state employment tax requirements with tax providers and any other global compliance filings and requirements</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Assist with global year-end processes to ensure all are accurate and timely.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Coordinate data for audit responses for periodic internal and external payroll audits and compliance reporting, including 401(k) and Workers Compensation.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Be the initial point of contact for all payroll-related issues from employees. Monitor a payroll email inbox, ticketing service and educate employees with clear, helpful responses.</li>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Certified Payroll Certification (CPP) designation is strongly preferred</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Dayforce experience is strongly preferred</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role managing multi-state payroll. Global experience a plus</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, payroll taxes, and compliance requirements</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Proficiency in using payroll software and related tools; experience with automated payroll systems is highly desirable</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Exceptional diligence and accuracy in handling sensitive data</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll concepts to employees and stakeholders</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism and integrity</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">High level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving payroll practices and technologies</li>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Benefits</strong></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">The base salary range for this role is $ 90,000 to $ 130,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
