Context

Our Global Markets business, part of Investment Banking division, provides a comprehensive suite of financial products to meet our clients’ needs ranging from financing and market access to yield enhancement and hedging. Our clients include financial institutions, corporations, investment managers, institutional investors and public sector institutions. Our Global Markets Business lines includes Equity Sales, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Stock Option Plans, Forex and Liquidity Providing.

Your position

As an intern, you will contribute to a wide range of initiatives within the derivatives business. This includes supporting Stock Option Plans for Belgian corporates, as well as assisting in the development and distribution of Structured Products. You will be actively involved in both strategic and operational aspects of our derivatives offering. Your function is a real mix between the sales and the market.

Responsibilities:

• Product familiarisation, conduct market research and contribute to market trend analysis


• Prepare pre\- and post\-trade documentation package for potential client transactions


• Optimise data storage architecture and automate transactional workflow


• Actively participate in desk meetings and provide support on ongoing projects


• Assist in managing relationships with the various stakeholders within the bank, Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc in order to be able to deliver the product

Your profile

• Education in engineering or finance, quantitative background preferred


• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, Dutch is an advantage


• You are proficient in Python or another language


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Strong team\-working skills and ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels

We are seeking a candidate who is available to start in September for a minimum duration of 4 months.
