Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Global Editorial Director to lead our international content strategy and editorial team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development, quality, and consistency of all published materials across multiple platforms. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global editorial strategies to ensure content excellence and alignment with organisational objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of editors, writers, and content creators across various regions.

  • Oversee the planning, editing, and production of high\-quality articles, reports, proposals, and multimedia content.

  • Ensure all content is accurate through rigorous fact checking and proofreading processes.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including marketing, communications, and journalism departments to produce compelling narratives.

  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and voice across all publications while adapting to regional cultural nuances.

  • Drive innovation in content creation through creative writing techniques and storytelling excellence.

  • Manage deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high standards of quality control.

  • Oversee the utilisation of word processing tools and other digital platforms to streamline workflow processes.

  • Contribute to proposal writing for new projects or initiatives that require compelling editorial input.
Experience
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in editorial leadership roles within a global organisation or media environment.

  • Extensive experience in fact checking, copywriting, creative writing, proofreading, and journalism.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal writing and strategic content planning.

  • Proficiency in word processing software and content management systems is essential.

  • Experience managing multicultural teams across different geographical locations is highly desirable.

  • A background in journalism or related fields will be considered an asset. Pay: £7,300\.00\-£13,700\.00 per month
