<p data-start="50" data-end="419">Smartly is looking for a Global Director, Sales Strategy and Operations to help shape and scale how our commercial organization operates globally. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive planning, operational rigor, forecasting, and strategic initiatives that support growth across regions and customer segments.</p>
<p data-start="421" data-end="717">This role is well suited for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with business judgment and operational execution. You will work across teams to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and ensure our global go-to-market organization can scale effectively as the business grows.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="xo6wah" data-start="719" data-end="738">What You Will Do</h2>

<li data-section-id="bd8utm" data-start="740" data-end="855">Partner with global Sales leadership to define and operationalize go-to-market priorities and commercial strategy</li>
<li data-section-id="1mgm4n3" data-start="856" data-end="993">Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, including territory planning, quota modeling, capacity planning, and performance tracking</li>
<li data-section-id="1lncgcu" data-start="994" data-end="1112">Develop forecasting frameworks, reporting structures, and business insights that support data-driven decision-making</li>
<li data-section-id="4wq8r7" data-start="1113" data-end="1237">Analyze pipeline health, sales performance, conversion trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and risks</li>
<li data-section-id="220l2k" data-start="1238" data-end="1383">Drive cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Operations teams to improve commercial effectiveness</li>
<li data-section-id="1d1r3nh" data-start="1384" data-end="1492">Build scalable operational processes and frameworks that improve efficiency and consistency across regions</li>
<li data-section-id="de7bef" data-start="1493" data-end="1611">Prepare executive-level business reviews, strategic analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership stakeholders</li>
<li data-section-id="1yxzzau" data-start="1612" data-end="1720">Identify areas for process improvement and lead operational change initiatives that support company growth</li>
</ul>
<h2 data-section-id="1q2ph07" data-start="1722" data-end="1748">What We Are Looking For</h2>
<ul data-start="1750" data-end="2609">
<li data-section-id="1xnlbvq" data-start="1750" data-end="1893">Strong experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, business operations, management consulting, or related commercial strategy functions</li>
<li data-section-id="rppdxh" data-start="1894" data-end="1995">Experience working with global sales organizations and supporting cross-regional go-to-market teams</li>
<li data-section-id="7m45zp" data-start="1996" data-end="2111">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights</li>
<li data-section-id="1teft6i" data-start="2112" data-end="2205">Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, sales planning, and performance reporting</li>
<li data-section-id="afe07o" data-start="2206" data-end="2304">Ability to work through ambiguity and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions</li>
<li data-section-id="9af1q" data-start="2305" data-end="2410">Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience working with senior business leaders</li>
<li data-section-id="20sabn" data-start="2411" data-end="2489">Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution</li>
<li data-section-id="1blgdna" data-start="2490" data-end="2609">Experience working with CRM and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms</li>
