General Practice Nurse

Practice Nurse/Midwife required to work in a busy GP practice in Mary St Medical Centre in Clonmel.

Part time position available (3 days per week).

Role \& Responsibilities The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of nursing duties, including:

• Phlebotomy


• Childhood and adult immunisations/vaccinations


• Cervical screening


• Chronic Disease Management


• Skin and wound care, including suture removal


• ECGs and 24\-hour ABPM monitoring


• Injection administration


• Clinical stock management


• Clinical administration using GP software systems

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) currently registered with the NMBI


• Minimum of 2 years' post\-registration experience


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Hardworking, conscientious, and a strong team player


• Valid permission to work in Ireland

• Previous General Practice experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Expected hours: 24\.0 per week
