About the Role

As General Manager, you'll take full ownership of the day\-to\-day operation of the store, leading both the Front of House and Kitchen teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

You'll be responsible for building a positive team culture, driving sales and profitability, maintaining outstanding operational standards, and ensuring your store consistently delivers the Steamhouse experience.

This General Manager role combines commercial leadership with hands\-on hospitality, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front and developing high\-performing teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach, and inspire both Front of House and Kitchen teams


• Recruit, train, and develop future leaders within the business


• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence


• Manage labour, stock, and store costs to maximise performance


• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and resolve customer concerns professionally


• Maintain the highest food safety, hygiene, and health \& safety standards


• Analyse KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance


• Build strong relationships within the local community to grow the business


• Work closely with the Head of Operations and wider leadership team to achieve business goals

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an inspirational General Manager who is passionate about people, hospitality, and delivering results.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Store Manager, or Senior Hospitality Manager


• Strong leadership and people development skills


• Commercial awareness with experience managing sales, labour, and profitability


• Excellent organisational and communication skills


• Experience leading high\-volume hospitality or café operations


• A proactive, hands\-on approach to problem solving


• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
