General Manager - Spa

Location: Fylde Coast

A General Manager role for a new luxury spa, brought in to lead the project from current build phase through to opening and operational launch. This is a senior, hands-on appointment for an experienced spa operator who has taken a venue from build through to trading and knows what good looks like at every stage of that journey.

What you will do

Lead the remainder of the build from an operator's perspective, partnering with the build team rather than running construction. Own the operational specification of M&E packages, EPOS, booking platform, and digital infrastructure, including the website. Develop the operating model in full: treatments menu, staffing structure, supplier relationships, opening procedures, and standards. Work closely with the in-house marketing function on the pre-opening campaign and launch strategy. Take overall accountability for delivering a successful opening and the trading operation that follows.

What you will bring

You will have proven experience of opening a spa from build phase through to launch, with a track record you can speak to in detail. You will have specified and procured M&E packages, EPOS, and booking technology in a spa context, and be comfortable owning the digital build alongside marketing. You will be operationally rigorous, with the commercial maturity to bring focus to a project that needs it. You will be comfortable working to a clear approval model and presenting plans as commercial business cases. You will lead with standards and have a genuine eye for guest experience at the premium end of the market.
