Shoreline Hotel is looking for an energetic, commercially minded General Manager to lead and develop our 35\-bedroom beachside hotel in beautiful Donabate, North County Dublin.

This exciting opportunity would suit an experienced General Manager who sees the potential in developing a distinctive beach side hotel, or likewise an ambitious Deputy General Manager with several years experience ready to take the next step in their career. The hotel is currently in the pre\-planning stage of an exciting expansion, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape its next chapter of growth. An attractive salary and incentives are offered for the right candidate.

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the hotel\-leading the team, enhancing the guest experience and delivering strong commercial results. You will oversee daily operations, develop your managers, grow revenue, control costs and maintain excellent standards across bedrooms, food and beverage, functions and events.

You will be a visible, hands\-on leader with strong operational experience, excellent people skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

The Person

  • An experienced hotelier seeking a new and exciting challenge to develop a beach side hotel with a growing F\&B operation

  • Energetic, ambitious and genuinely passionate about hospitality.

  • A visible, hands\-on leader who enjoys being present with guests and the team.

  • Commercially focused, with strong financial awareness and a drive to grow revenue.

  • An excellent communicator who can motivate, develop and retain great people.

  • Creative and confident, with ideas for developing a distinctive beachside hotel.

  • Calm under pressure, highly organised and comfortable making decisions.

  • Committed to exceptional guest experiences and consistently high standards.

  • Well connected locally or enthusiastic about becoming part of the Donabate and Fingal community.
The Role
  • Take full responsibility for the day\-to\-day management and performance of Shoreline Hotel.

  • Lead, support and develop the hotel's management team.

  • Drive revenue across bedrooms, dining, weddings, conferences, events and local celebrations.

  • Develop Shoreline Hotel's position as a leading beachside destination.

  • Deliver memorable guest experiences at every stage of the customer journey.

  • Manage budgets, payroll, costs, profitability and operational performance.

  • Maintain excellent standards across accommodation, food and beverage, functions and events.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to identify new opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, local businesses and the wider community.
