About the pub

The Three Arches in Cardiff is a well\-established, high\-volume community pub with weekly sales averaging £54,000 and a strong 58% wet / 42% dry split. Known for its welcoming, family\-friendly environment, it caters to a broad customer base including locals, families, students and visitors, with features such as a beer garden, children’s play area and dog\-friendly spaces. It’s a busy, food\-led pub with strong weekend peaks and all\-day appeal, already performing well but with clear headroom for further growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven General Manager to take an already successful pub and elevate it further. With strong market conditions in Wales and growing demand for experience\-led pubs, there is real potential to drive sales through events, sports viewing, community partnerships and premium food and drink offers.

We’re looking for a high\-impact operator with strong food\-led, high\-volume experience and the ability to lead across multiple trading areas. You’ll be a people\-focused leader who can build and develop a diverse team, while maintaining high operational standards and consistency. With a strong commercial mindset and passion for guest experience, you’ll also be confident driving events, engaging with the local community, and creating a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back.

Management accommodation is available in the form of a well‑proportioned three‑bedroom flat featuring a comfortable lounge, functional kitchen and full bathroom.
