The Opportunity
We’re looking for a seasoned operator who knows how to lead big, busy, late\-night venues. We need someone who can bring structure without killing the fun, drive process and performance without losing the customer experience, and lead from the front when the site is in full swing.
Molly Malones is a high\-volume, fast\-paced institution. As our General Manager, you’ll lead the full operation across the floor—from the behind the bar to the front door.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for: Driving Sales \& Customer Experience:
Maximizing profitability while keeping the atmosphere amazing. We trade fully right up until our official closing hours, meaning the pub stays welcoming and open for business until the doors lock.
Leading a Large Team:
Building a positive, high\-performing crew, keeping energy levels high, and instilling a culture of speed and friendly service.
Managing High\-Volume Trade:
Staying calm and organized when the bar is three\-people deep and the band is rocking.
Keeping Costs Under Control:
Managing budgets, wet stock, and optimizing labor percentages against daily trading patterns.
Setting the Stage:
Managing the booking of live music acts and ensuring the venue looks top\-tier for major events and promotions.
Sharp Operational Standards:
Dimming the lights, cueing the music, and keeping floor discipline tight (meaning phones in pockets and eyes on the guests).
Compliance \& Security: Working closely with our door team to ensure licensing, health \& safety, and front\-door compliance are flawless.

What We Need From You
You’ll already have great experience running large, busy hospitality operations and feel completely confident managing a large team during high\-energy late nights.
You’ll bring:
*Proven GM Experience:* A solid background in high\-volume pubs, busy bars, or live music venues.
*Strong Commercial Awareness:* A good head for numbers and a track record of hitting financial targets.
*A Hands\-On Leadership Style:* A visible, energetic presence on the floor who loves leading from the front.
*Discipline \& Pace:* High standards, great organizational skills, and a knack for keeping a shift moving smoothly.
*Personality under Pressure:* A calm, positive attitude and the ability to keep the team smiling during our busiest hours.
*Licensing:* A current Personal License and a good understanding of late\-night operations.
*Cellar Management:* Understanding of Cellar Cleaniness, Line Cleans and Gas Safety.
