Salary: £40 000 \- £43000 depending on experience

Its Bagels is an artisan bagel bakery known for serving fresh, delicious bagels baked on site, and coffee in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and help us continue delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management and of course real Bakery management.


• Train, motivate, and supervise team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient workflows.


• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.


• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.


• Manage customer flow, sales reporting, and basic financial tracking.


• Lead our team to deliver outstanding food preparation, baking, and serving during peak hours as needed.


• Develop strategies to boost sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.


• Its all about our people and we need a strong people orientated manager with tons of personality

• Be able to speak to anyone


• Previous experience in a café, bakery, or restaurant management role (bagel shop experience a plus!).


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire a team.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices \- non negotiable.


• Ability to multitask, problem\-solve, and work in a fast\-paced environment.


• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. We operate during the day so no late nights!
