We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager \- Live in to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. This unique role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a vibrant environment, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food and beverage management, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. This position includes live\-in accommodation, providing convenience and full engagement with the team and property. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant, hotel, or hospitality operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Manage staff schedules, recruit new team members, and oversee training programmes to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, food safety, and food production processes to ensure compliance with health regulations, a chef background/experience would be advantageous.
- Coordinate daily activities related to serving guests, including overseeing front\-of\-house operations such as hospitality services and barista functions.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and health \& safety regulations across all departments.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and oversee procurement processes for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Handle guest relations, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Organise special events or functions as required, ensuring seamless execution from planning through to delivery.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment with strong team management capabilities.
- Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety knowledge.
- Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and hotel or restaurant service standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills suitable for liaising with staff, suppliers, and guests alike.
- Experience in hospitality management roles such as restaurant manager or hotel supervisor is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry.
