Late Night Bar Manager – Dublin City Centre (Dublin 2\)

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly driven Late Night Bar Manager to lead the operations of one of Dublin City Centre's busiest late\-night venues.
This is a senior management position suited to an ambitious hospitality professional with a proven track record of managing high\-volume bar operations, leading large teams, delivering financial results, and maintaining exceptional operational standards.
The successful candidate will be a hands\-on leader who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and is capable of driving performance while creating a positive culture for both staff and customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesVenue Leadership
- Take full responsibility for the day\-to\-day operation of the venue.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a large team of managers, supervisors, bartenders, floor staff, and security personnel.
- Be highly visible on the floor and lead by example during all trading periods.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
- Manage labour costs, beverage margins, stock control, and operational expenses in line with company targets.
- Analyse business performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Monitor KPIs and take corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure all financial controls, cash handling procedures, and reporting requirements are strictly adhered to.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop management and operational teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development meetings.
- Manage disciplinary and performance management procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Build and maintain a strong management structure within the venue.
- Maintain the highest standards of venue presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Oversee security operations and ensure responsible service of alcohol practices are consistently implemented.
- Manage customer issues professionally and efficiently.
- Work closely with company directors to achieve agreed business objectives.
- Attend weekly management meetings and provide detailed operational and financial updates.
- Develop and execute plans to increase sales, profitability, customer retention, and overall venue performance.
- Identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
- Minimum 5 years' senior management experience in a high\-volume bar, nightclub, late\-night venue, or hospitality operation.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop large teams.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial and operational KPIs.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs, stock control, GP performance, and profitability.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast\-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Irish licensing legislation and hospitality compliance requirements.
- Highly motivated, target\-driven, and commercially focused.
- Flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends, and late nights.
