The role
We are looking for an experienced, hands\-on General Manager to lead one of our new venues in Sale. You will be the face of the business, responsible for the team, standards and guest experience, with the autonomy to put your own stamp on the operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead all day\-to\-day operations across bar, floor and kitchen

  • Recruit, train and motivate a high\-performing team

  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences for locals, families and sports fans

  • Drive sales and profitability through effective rota, stock and cost control

  • Plan and deliver a strong sports and events calendar

  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, safety, food hygiene and presentation

  • Ensure full compliance with licensing, health \& safety and company policies
About you
  • Experienced General Manager, or strong Deputy ready to step up, from a busy pub, bar or casual dining background

  • Natural host who enjoys being front\-of\-house and known by regulars

  • Strong people leader with a proven record of building and developing teams

  • Commercially aware, comfortable working with KPIs, margins, rotas and stock

  • Passionate about sport\-led, high\-street venues and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere

  • Confident in licensing law, health \& safety and food hygiene requirements

  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and key trading dates
