Our Elephant \& Castle club is a tight\-knit, high\-energy space with real momentum \- and we're looking for the right person to lead it to the next level.
The role
As General Manager, you'll have full ownership of the day\-to\-day operations of the club. You'll be responsible for sales performance, team management, member experience, and the overall standard of the facility. This is a full\-time position with morning, evening and some weekend work on a rota basis.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for:
- Sales management \- driving membership growth through local community and corporate outreach
- Marketing management \- owning campaigns and initiatives to attract and retain members
- Managing and developing personal trainers on site
- Maintaining gym standards across cleanliness, maintenance, and health \& safety
- Club administration and financial reporting
- Social media oversight and club management reporting
Someone with a proven track record in the fitness industry \- ideally in a management or senior sales role. You lead from the front, you hold high standards, and you know how to get the best out of a team.
You're commercially minded, target\-driven, and just as comfortable on the gym floor as you are reviewing your numbers. Most importantly, you care \- about the club, the members, and the people you work with.
Candidates should ideally have:
- Proven sales and management experience
- Outstanding customer service and people skills
- A track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Fitness qualification (desirable but not essential)
